WOW!! Today's class was insane! We talked about Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, etc. It was a lot to digest. I don't think I want to do all of these different types of social media, but it was good to be exposed to all of them. I really like the them all, but is it really faster or better than email and a web page? Each has it s benefits, and I think I will go with Facebook and Pinterest. However, I just have had students tell me that they are no longer on Facebook and that it is a thing of the past. So much with keeping up to date.
Jared showed us Subtext, and we got ans intro to Skype for educators, and they both seemed pretty cool. I want to know how to do get/write my own text to use with subtext, and I also want to find more people to contact with Skype for educators.
One thing I would like is to have class go a little slower and step by step, tutorial style. It is hard to figure out once in class, and the go home and do it through the processes. At times it seems that we are going to fast to be able to grasp the process.
Later, we switched to submitting assignments new way, so we will see how that goes! it seems crazy, just as I was figuring out the old system!! Oh well,
