Tonight I learned a lot of stuff! We used Edcanvas to make a presentation as a group. It was fun, although I was in Social Studies, we made it work. It was fun to use Edcanvas, but we had issues loading a pdf file into it. Other groups had the same issue. I ended up taking a snapshot of the main page of the pdf with the ipad, and then sent it to the group editor to insert it in. It worked!!!
We also had time to play with Haiku Deck so that we could see how it worked. It it really cool and quick to use. Did I mention that it was easy to use too? I made a Pecha Kucha style presentation, but mine had a few words, and less that 20 slides, so it is not a true Pecha Kucha, as they should be 20 slides, 20 seconds each, and no works written. I have already used it in my classes!!!
The embedding in the weebly is were i got lost. I got the Pecha Kucha embedded, but it looks like it is in a blog or RSS feed size column. I am not sure what happened, or how I did it, but I left it because I could not figure out how to get it done any better. I will have to see if I can figure out how to do it on the web or maybe ask Jared. Wish me luck!!!
