The project design seems to be pretty complicated. Not that it is a huge deals since I am a teacher and I know how to do lesson plans. The trice here for me will be to design the lesson while incorporating the other areas of language arts, science, math and social studies. It will take me some time to get ALL of those involved. It should not be too difficult though. i need to find the standards for these areas, and that might be a little more time consuming for me.
We saw how to use Wordle, and is seems that I will have several tools for use in teaching in these areas. As I a learned in the MA program in Spain: Things have to be measurable and observable.
I didn't really think about pre-requisites for my students or for me as a teacher but it makes sense to me after the discussion and readings. Surveys can be used to pre assess what students already know and that is something that I plan on using in a written form and also as an informal way of finding out what is going on with previous learning.
I am liking Canvas, but I feel like I need to use more to be comfortable wit. i can find things, but it still take me a while to get all of it together. i like to take pics with the iPad so the I can have instant notes at my access without wifi to be able to review the material. Nearpod was pretty cool for that.
